Details

Jump head-first into the big-wheeled world of 29ers aboard Trek's Mamba WSD. This cool trail bike starts with a lightweight aluminum frame and hangs 29-inch Bontrager Ranger disc wheels with Avid mechanical disc brakes off of it for a ride that truly has to be ridden to understand. Complementing the sublime ride is a RockShox fork that gives you 100mm of travel to add even more cush to those big wheels. And, you also get the solid function of SRAM shifting and the quality of Bontrager controls. Ladies, it's time to join the 29er revolution.

Trek's Genesisters bikes feature women's-specific frames, suspension and components for a wonderful, custom fit and amazing ride. For example, the frames sport short top tubes, tall head tubes, steeper seat-tube angles and decreased head angles. Plus, suspension forks are fine-tuned for light riders. These details ensure top-notch handling, comfort and pedaling efficiency. Complementing the great ride are proportional crankarms, anatomic saddles, narrow handlebars, short-reach controls and small-diameter grips. Take a test ride and experience the Genesisters difference!
Trek's G2 Geometry (version 2 of Gary Fisher's Genesis Geometry) delivers the ultimate ride for every trail. Genesis earned rave reviews for awesome handling on climbs and descents thanks to a long top tube paired with a short stem that moves the front wheel forward for top-notch confidence and control, while short chainstays add phenomenal traction. G2 Geometry takes these handling traits to the next level by boosting control on tight singletrack and technical climbs, too. This is accomplished by increasing the amount of fork offset (reducing trail), which makes G2 bikes steer more quickly, and by shortening the reach, which puts more weight on the front wheel for even better control and confidence. The two animations above showcase how G2 Geometry provides the perfect ride.

Comments:

Love this bike! I ride and race on this thing and it is a beast. I roll over stuff like a monster truck. I have so much control over the bike. I am barely 5'4" and got the 15.5" and it fits like a glove. the steep top tube is awesome, making it impossible to rack yourself! it's almost 30 lbs and I plan on lightening it up in the future but this is perfect for now. Will never look back to a 26"!
